Kit is a clear reflection of her pedigree, combining her sire's classic head type with her dam's superb structure and movement, all wrapped in a package of feminine beauty. She shares with all of the Charlin Manchesters a long wedge-shaped head with a strong underjaw, a dark eye, and a lovely high ear carriage which bespeaks correct Manchester type and wonderful expression. Her long and well laid back shoulder, smooth neck attachment, powerfully-muscled topline, and well-angulated hindquarter all contribute to her ground-covering movement. Her brisket reaches to her elbow and her body is well ribbed up and substantial. No Toy-like weediness here -- this girl is all Terrier!
In only 10 shows from start to finish, Kit completed her AKC championship at the "National Dog Show" (KC of Philadelphia) in November of 2012, at the age of 16 months, capturing 4 major wins along the way.
In January of 2014, Kit tackled the coursing field, running 3 successful Coursing Ability Tests in one weekend, to gain her Coursing Ability Test (CAT) title. In June of 2016, Kit walked into her first Barn Hunt ring and found her rat in 20.3 seconds. She placed 2nd in her Ratting Instinct class of nine with no previous training or experience, thus proving herself as the quintessential ratter that a true Manchester Terrier should be.
